Increase of attention to the issue of the organization of efficient occupational safety system at the enterprise and in the organization depends on the management striving to conduct a civilized business, including, among other arrangements, social security and social partnership with employees, interest in personnel health and safety, as well as increasing legislative pressure in respect of occupational safety.

Occupational health and safety management system (OHSAS) efficiency depends on correctly defined objectives for management and high-quality performance of duties, entrusted on all levels of management, on all organizational units and especially on its management. Experience has proven that a well-organized occupational safety management system produces a tangible economic effect: labor efficiency increases, losses related to injuries and occupational diseases decrease, turnover of employees goes down, professional activity of employees grows. It is scientifically proven that a rational set of arrangements aimed at improvement of working conditions can lead to performance improvement.
